Anjali Mishra — Founder & Master StylistNu ME opened in 2014 above a small bookshop in MP Nagar, with two chairs and a single basin. Anjali Mishra, trained in Mumbai and Paris, wanted a studio where appointments weren't rushed to make room for the next one — where a haircut could take the time it actually needs.
Twelve years on, the studio has grown to six chairs, a dedicated skin room, and a bridal suite tucked at the back — but the original idea hasn't moved. Every stylist at Nu ME trains under Anjali directly before they're allowed to hold their own appointment book, and every service on our menu is something we'd recommend to a friend, not just sell to a client.
We keep our books appointment-only by design. It means fewer chairs filled at once, and more attention in each one.

- WhatsApp messages — the content of messages you send us, your WhatsApp display name and phone number, and message metadata such as time sent and delivery status.
- Basic website usage data — general, non-identifying technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site working correctly.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive financial information such as full card numbers; payments at the studio are processed through standard point-of-sale and payment-gateway providers who handle that data directly.
How We Use Your Information
- To confirm, reschedule, or remind you about appointments.
- To respond to questions you send by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
- To keep a service history so your stylist can deliver consistent results visit to visit.
- To send occasional updates about offers or new services, only where you have not opted out.

WhatsApp Communications
When you message our WhatsApp Business number or provide your number to be contacted there, you agree to receive appointment-related messages from us on that channel. We use WhatsApp to send booking confirmations, reminders, and replies to your queries. We do not use your WhatsApp number for purposes unrelated to your enquiry without separate consent.
You can stop receiving non-essential messages from us at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by asking us directly. Essential transactional messages tied to an existing booking may still be sent until that appointment is resolved.
Sharing Information
We do not sell client information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as appointment-scheduling software, our WhatsApp Business platform provider, and payment processors — each bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our staff and clients.
Retention & Security
We retain appointment and contact records for as long as you remain an active client, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including restricting access to client records to staff who need it to do their job. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- Show you the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate details, such as a misspelled name or outdated number.
- Delete your information, except where we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
- Stop marketing messages while keeping essential appointment communication.

Acceptance of Terms
These terms govern your use of the Nu ME unisex salon and makeup & Studio website, your booking of any service with us by phone, WhatsApp, or in person, and your visit to our studio. By booking an appointment or browsing our site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or this website.
Appointments & Booking
Appointments can be requested through our website form, by phone, or via WhatsApp. A request is not confirmed until you receive an explicit confirmation message from us with a date and time. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for standard services, and at least two weeks in advance for bridal services.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Standard appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled time.
- Cancellations made with less than 4 hours' notice, or no-shows, may be asked to pay a token fee on their next visit.
- Bridal and event bookings require a non-refundable advance to confirm the date, as outlined when the booking is made. This advance is adjusted against the final bill.
- We reserve the right to reschedule an appointment in the event of stylist illness or unforeseen circumstances, and will inform you as early as possible.
Late Arrivals
We hold appointments for 15 minutes past the scheduled time. Beyond that, depending on the day's bookings, we may need to shorten the service or reschedule it to protect the appointments of clients booked after you.
Payments & Pricing
Prices listed on our website and in-studio menu are indicative and may vary based on hair length, product brand, and stylist seniority; your stylist will confirm the final price before the service begins. We accept cash, UPI, and major cards. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, though the price confirmed at the time of your appointment will be honoured.
Patch Tests & Health Disclosures
For your safety, a patch test is required at least 48 hours before any colour, keratin, or other chemical service for first-time clients, and periodically thereafter. Please inform us in advance of any allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, or medical conditions that may affect a treatment. We reserve the right to decline a chemical service if a patch test shows a reaction, or if a required health disclosure is not made.
Liability
While we take great care in every service, hair and skin react differently from person to person. Nu ME is not liable for reactions arising from undisclosed allergies, medical conditions, or health information withheld at the time of booking. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the studio. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
Studio Conduct
We ask all clients and guests to treat our staff and fellow clients with courtesy. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to anyone behaving in a manner that is abusive, unsafe, or disruptive to the studio environment.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, layout, and graphics, belongs to Nu ME unisex salon and makeup & Studio and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Photographs of client transformations are only used in our marketing with the client's explicit consent, obtained separately at the time.
Governing Law & Contact
